And OSX is now totally broken as well, not only with lots more warnings,
but with a bunch of out-and-out errors. Just a couple of preliminary
observations:
1) Nothing in OSX looks at _ISOC99_SOURCE. This is true across six
different versions of XCode.
2) OSX doesn't have the infamous sys/sysmacros.h. And it's apparently
downright poison on SVR4, according to this:
