Sorry, I thought you meant an addition to gpsd to keep state.  Your
code is just a client thread.

Where is GetGPSLocation()?  If all the work is there, best not left to
the imagination.

What you did is fine, but all you did is just create a loop, which is
what I have been saying is required.
