Yo All!
I got an odd one. Has anyone tried connecting a gpsd to anther gpsd?
On a master:
# gpsd -nG /dev/ttyS0
On a slave:
# gpsd -n gpsd://master
# cgps
cgps never shows anything.
Tried with, and without, -n on both ends. No change.
The man page implies this should work? I looked at the data with
tcpdump. The slave gpsd connects to the master gpsd. The gpsd sends
the VERSION JSON, then nothing happens. The gpsd slave is asked to
WATCH data by the slave cgps, the the slave gpsd never sends a WATCH to
the master gpsd.
