Yo Gary,
I've been quite swamped doing a new board bringup at work
and with general chaos. (Android OEM AOSP work)

I hope to get into it in the next couple of days or the weekend
and hopefully start contributing to this project.

I will clone and try the latest gpsd with your change
and let you know.
