Please provide these hinting options, along with driver hinting, to the
gpsdctl command!
The gpsd startup that auto-detects my unit can take a very long time
sometimes, or get stuck on other drivers:
{"class":"DEVICES","devices":[{"class":"DEVICE","path":"/dev/ttyUSB0","driver":"Trimble
TSIP","activated":"2019-10-29T05:34:40.068Z","flags":1,"native":1,"bps":9600,"parity":"N","stopbits":1,"cycle":1.00}]}
I'm running a ublox @ 115200 from Mark Atwood, and using ubxtool primed
correctly works instantly:
# ubxtool -f /dev/ttyUSB0 -s 115200 -p CFG-PRT
...
UBX-CFG-PRT:
PortID 1 (UART1) reserved1 0 txReady 0x0
mode 0x8c0 baudRate 115200
inProtoMask 0x7 outProtoMask 0x1
flags 0x0 reserved2 0
inProtoMask (UBX NMEA RTCM2)
outProtoMask (UBX)
flags ()
Plus the monver:
UBX-MON-VER:
swVersion 1.00 (59842)
hwVersion 00070000
extension PROTVER 14.00
extension GPS;SBAS;GLO;QZSS
