I visited https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/options/gpsd-dev (read from the 
headers in every mail message), put my email address in and pressed 
Unsubscribe. 2 minutes later an email arrived with a link to clink to 
unsubscribe.

Do you get that email? Or..?
