Got it.  In both cases the epoch looked like wwhat I think OPUS wants:

Unpatched:

> 2020 05 03 20 40 30.0080000  0 10

Patched:

> 2020 05 03 20 40 30.0080000  0 10

Than I am at a loss.  It worked once.
