No GPS receivers are deprecated.  The only one I would consider is the
Ashtech that has not been mad in 20 years.  Then someone reported having
one a few months ago.

What was deprecated was a separate MTK build flag.  Now MTK support is
always compiled when NMEA support is compiled.  The MTK is mostly NMEA
and the space saved was trivial.

My goal is to slowly remove all compile time feature flags.  MOdern
languages like Go and Rust do not support such things anymore.
