Picking a random accessible page that seems safely accurate:

it says 2 is differntial, 4 is RTK Fixed, 5 is RTK Float.
So aside from the words above saying RTK, I agree. If the receiver
puts 2 in that field in GGA, then it is reporting DGPS and it is 100%
right for cgps/xgps to show "DGPS".
