    ChangeLog: Add entries for documentation fixes.
    
    Corrections to erroneous material in the documentation meet the
    threshold of changeloggability (cf. organizational and style fixes to
    the docs).
    
    Also clarify what was being fixed with commit
    c3047d8f5881e21cf4f09c13d88106c71aa25004 (assertion failure on bad
    input).
