gbranden pushed a commit to branch master
in repository groff.
commit 40c7425c0265c85faa11798c295af9be25ce610f
Author: G. Branden Robinson <g.branden.robinson@gmail.com>

groff_diff(7): Revise still more.
* Update list of language features, focussing less on syntactical
features and more on general capability.
* Say "GNU troff" instead of "groff" when referring specifically to the
formatter.
* Introduce the font translation feature much earlier since it is
mentioned in passing multiple times later.
* Drop mention of filtering string arguments with \B; since there is no
escape sequence that works as a conditional operator, this is not an
obvious application. (You could still do it if you called a \B-using
macro as a string but that is too deep in the weeds for this page.)
* Use comparative degree instead of superlative where appropriate,
keeping up resistance to the Jeremy Clarkson-ification of the English
language.
* Drop redundancy from \s description.
* Annotate macro/name/request arguments in `do` requests as optional.
* Annotate "contents" argument to `ds1` request as non-optional; as we
note with `ds`, an rvalue is always present even you don't think there
is.
* Hyperlink author names to email addresses.
* Tighten wording.
