Not ignoring this request shouldn't hurt too much.
OTOH, UNIX troff is inherently crippled, so why bother about a bad
compatibility mode anyway? The standard groff mode, however, can be
as neat as is possible. Maybe more people will realize that groff
is the better troff mode.
