[Groff] strings with arguments

I've just committed some code which implements strings with arguments.

Example:

  .ds xxx This is a \\$1 test.
  \*[xxx nice]

    => This is a nice test.

PS: It is *not* possible to make macros with arguments be called
    inline.  The complications caused by newlines are too hairy.
