You mean like man's output; the header and footer just once, not every
sixty-something lines? man(1) inserts a
.pl 1100i
at the start of the source to make the page length very long.
> Note: these lines go away if I pipe the output to more -sv
What does your more's -v option do? My more doesn't have that.
