Larry,

   I think the .br in ParEnd does flush out the last line.  I also
changed the .dt to a .wh because the trap is not defined while in
a diversion.  I still need to experiment with this a bit more as 
time permits because one side-effect I am noticing is an extra
blank line preceding the paragraph bracketed by ParBeg/ParEnd.
