I've not been able to update since yesterday...
% cvs -z3 update -dP
savannah.gnu.org: Operation timed out
cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

I couldn't even ping savannah yesterday; it seems to at least have web services
up today & access to the archive.
