[Groff] Werner's Margin Notes

Hi all,

I came across an 'ms' based margin notes macro.

For some reason i am not able to get it working.

I created 2 files, MN.tmac and werner.t and then ran,
  groff -ms werner.t > werner.ps

The text is there, but not the margin notes.

Am i missing something.
The 2 files are attached for reference.

Also, is there any "standard" support in groff for margin notes.
i/e, any standard macro package, which makes creation of margin notes simple.
