Yes. In addition to Clarke Echols's advice, you  can
make  this  behaviour  more manageable using end-of-
input traps.  This way, the single-page mode can  be
turned on and off with a single command:

Werner  Lemberg  has added a refined version of that
into the Texinfo manual, under the section  "End-of-
input traps".
