The problem I described in
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/groff/2018-03/msg00025.html means
that running "./bootstrap" after "make distclean" currently results in
the tree appearing to be dirty. Either of the fixes I suggested there
would deal with that.
In the meantime, "git checkout -- doc/automake_migration_tests.txt"
after "make distclean" should work around it.
