One other point is made by Dr. Grinspoon with a quotation from
Archibald MacLeish, and it seems the most important consideration
of all. "Knowledge without feeling," the poet said, "is not
knowledge, and can only lead to public irresponsibility and
indifference, conceivably to ruin." MacLeish said further: "When
the fact is dissociated from the feel of the fact, . . . that
