Even though i do travel at times, you have clearly travelled *much*
more than i do, so i probably shouldn't question your observations.
Maybe i'm overestimating the prevalence of English in several countries.

Either way, you are certainly right that the situation with people
who might wish to use groff is better than on average in the general
population.  Also, i expect the situation to be continuously improving
in most countries.
