Yes, sort of--it seems I managed to screw it up.  On top of that I wrote
a particularly dumb test for it.

How is one to tell if `a2u` reuses the indentation of `a2s`, rather than
reaching the same measurement?

I'll fix the test and see what I can do to and fix the feature.
