For a good example, see the 'stress-ng' package definition 'guix edit
stress-ng'.  #:make-flags is documented in the manual (search for
#:make-flags or go to (guix)Build Systems).  #$output is documented in
‘(guix)G-Expressions’.

Very concretely:
