The firmware I’m using is the same, but all dtb files differ.

Did you use the same set of dtb files on our Pi 3? Especially I have a 
/boot/efi/bcm2710-rpi-3-b.dtb – which is loaded at boot due to the 
upstream_kernel=0 setting in dtb.txt –, which you seem to be missing.

I guess that your Pi 3 will not load any dtb file.

My current but not working U-Boot has a different hash.
