Under Savannah mail blackout, I fiddled with some unit tests.

Today, I made commitbot account to receive commit messages timely. Vesa is 
going to write an irc bot which reads the messages from a named pipe and 
announces them on #gzz. Later, we can rebuild documentation and run 
unit tests automatically after commits.
