Dear Hypertext 2003 Poster and Demo Presenters,

Below are more details about the posters and demos which hopefully
answer the remaining questions some of you have.

Posters will be up for the duration of the main conference, Wednesday
to Friday inclusive. They should be put up Tuesday evening or
Wednesday morning, and taken down Friday afternoon.  The posters will
always be up during the conference for attendees to see.  They will
browse the posters and demos during the coffee and lunch breaks.  The
conference organizers are currently determining if and when there will
be a special poster session.

The conference will have wireless access.  Therefore, demos can use
this wireless network if access to the Internet is required for them.
There will be no phone lines provided for demos since they are
expensive to arrange, financially risky to leave open, and wireless
performance is much better anyway.

As said, electricity will be provided for the demos.  This is, of
course UK electricity, so you if you don't have UK equipment, you will
need to bring power adapters.  You will be expected to show your demos
running your own computers and monitors, as these are also expensive
to provide.  Typically, demo presenters come with laptops, run the
demos on the laptops, and show them on the laptop screen.  Of course,
the conference's wireless can be accessed from these laptops.  You can
bring a desktop computer and/or a monitor, but you will be responsible
for transporting and securing such equipment, as will any and all
equipment you bring.

After Monday, I leave for a three week vacation, coming back in the
office on Tuesday, August 19th.  If you have any questions during this
