[H-source-users] The plan

Hello,

There were some discussions on IRC. I thought maybe I should write 
here the current plan and a proposal. Similar things have been 
mentioned elsewhere by others.

Overall we want to spin up a staging server that works with php7, 
and migrate the prod server to that code.

My proposal is that we maintain two branches for these two 
servers. The h-node branch initially will be used to publish code 
mirroring the server, and once the files are in sync, I'll add 
version control to the server, and then we will push code from 
this branch to the prod. But we want to minimise changes on this 
branch.

We also start an h-node-staging branch, on which the main 
development will take place. The goal is to have an up-to-date 
version of h-source that works with php-7. We will push code from 
this branch to the staging server.
