Isn't it possible to put the link to the changeset in the task once it is
complete?
We do that in Tryton:

   - commit contains issue and codereview number
   - issue contains changeset link

It is great when someone is looking at the history of the project to
understand what happens.

Yes. Good point. We'll add the Changeset to the task or bug.
