Hi Ronald. You should be able to install GNU Health in Ubuntu without
much of a problem. I admit I'm also a Debian user, but I have
installed it on Ubuntu boxes.

Which Ubuntu version are you using ?

Lucid Lynx 10.04 (LTS Release). I am prepared to use any other Ubuntu version or other Linux distribution. I managed to run GNU Health 1.3 on Ubuntu 11.10 Beta without any problems.

May be I should try Ubuntu 11.10 and let you know how it goes.

Regards,
Ronald.

We will do an installation on that one and let you know how it goes.
