How do I fix the bug? I used pip to install GNU Health 1.6.0

Thanks for your assistance. 

The fix will be included in upcoming GNU Health 1.6.1 (don't know the release date), but meanwhile you can modify the /health/health_view.xml file, replacing 1 with True, like in this changeset: http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/health/rev/628e9e5a3864 

Then you have to update the health module, in order to update the database view. 

You can run:  ./trytond -d gnuhealth_demo -u health, and the start trytond server again

or you can update from Administration -> Modules -> Modules
