Hi,
I installed GNUHealth from source. I am running the Tryton server
on machine A and the tryton client is connecting from a another machine
(say machine B).
I see the following in the server console :
Fri Jul 05 09:16:06 2013] INFO:server:initialising distributed objects
services
[Fri Jul 05 09:16:06 2013] INFO:server:starting JSON-RPC protocol on
localhost:8000
using netstat I can see that port 8000 is being listened on.
Then, I start Tryton client on machine B. Add a new profile (by Manage
Profile->Add) , and provide the destination ip address of machine A
(also tried with the machine name). Give the port number as 8000. I get
an error that says - Unable to connect to server.
I don't see any activity on the console either. I am attaching the
screenshot of the error.
Could you please advise me how I can track this down?. So far, I have
had client and server on the same machine. Is there something different
I need to do if client is on a different machine.
Thanks
Kaushik
