Good to hear from you!
Somehow this sounds very complex to me.
As we DO assume that patients are prescribed generics (no mercy here!),
and allergies are noted in the same manner, why not simply do a fuzzy
search through each fresh prescription looking out for anything in the
patient's allergy list?
Going through formal coding is, quite frankly, a semantic black hole.
