Details:

GNU Health Webdav3 server and its calendaring extensions can be integrated
with a CalDAV client (eg, Mozilla Thunderbird Lightning) ( See
https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/GNU_Health/WebDAV). Currently it supports
read-only mode from the client.

Starting GNU Health 3.4, it will support write operations directly from the
CalDAV client, to update the events in GNU Health. 

The synchronization process will also update the related appointment
associated to the event, if such appointment exists.
