Dear community

As you may know, our colleagues from Cirugía Solidaria have adopted GNU
Health[1] Hospital Management System to manage their projects around the
world! 

These are great news and exciting times. Our community keeps growing, and so
the number of people benefiting from GH.  

In addition, the functionality of the surgery package will significantly
improve to meet the demand of patients, especially in time and resource
constrained scenarios.

With the advise of the surgeons from Cirugía Solidaria, the main areas of
work will be:

* Pre-surgical assessment and patient evaluation
* Anesthesia
* Pre-defined models for different surgical protocols
* Reporting

We are confident to be able to introduce most of the enhancements for the
upcoming GH HMIS 4.2, expected for Q4 2022.
