Hey Luis,

there is already a chapter for this task. Can you maybe add your notes there? And accomplish what you mean with synchronization & roles?

Best

Gerald

Hello,

I'm going to assign a master thesis on working on Orthanc integration
in HMIS starting beginning of january for 6 months. I think it's a
great opportunity to advance on that but it will probably heavily
depend on our preparation/concept.
That is awesome. As we discussed at GHCon, we'll be creating a working
group dedicated to GNUHealth and Orthanc integration.

Having a master thesis dedicated to this task will bring the two
communities together and make GH a full blown RIS.

Please have a look at developer's
corner and update it or contact me if you have ideas on that:

Let's create a chapter inside the Developer's corner dedicated to this
task.

I propose summarizing the current state. Some examples:

* Storage types (local vs link to Orthanc)
* Synchronization (it wo
* Assignment of users (local and remote)
* LDAP / directories / PKI (for large deployments, this will be very
   useful for other contexts too)
* DICOM viewers (currently using orthanc webviewer)
* Roles

All the best
