How is give the standards topics in GNU Health?

In the slider of gnu health site, there is references about of that GNU Health adopt the HL7 FIR Standard.. [http://hl7.org/implement/standards/fhir/summary.html]

Can somebody orient me a few about of that GNU Health adopt  HL7 FIR standard?

What are the benefits about it? I already read about of HL7 FIR, but always I think that the point of view of somebody of you is interesting take into account. ....

These feature is for the next release the GNU Health version 2.8?  OR ..

GNU Health version 2.6 can make this?

In relation to DICOM and medical images in recent threads Sebastien , Cedric and Luis told me that one soon integration of GNU Health with Orthanc Dicom Server.

Is these for the next release?
