Dear Health Community,
I'm happy to announce the release of the GNU Health Live CD based on SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server 12 (SLES):
https://susestudio.com/a/7hReQg/gnu-health-2-8-sles-12
This is the server version based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES). It is
in text mode and has *no* client. It is recommended to run it as virtual
machine, see
https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/GNU_Health/The_Live-CD#Virtual_Machine_Images
On first boot, language and keyboard are in English. If you want to change this
later, boot into 'Advanced Options' to get language and keyboard selection
screens.
You need to have the Tryton client 3.4.x installed on a different PC in order
to connect to this Server. If your Network is configured with DDNS, the server
will show up as SLES-GNUHealth. Otherwise you have to connect with the
IP-Address (see 'Manage profiles' on the Tryton Client).
The Tryton-Server password is set to 'admin'. You can create databases from the
Client. It is recommended that you change the password!
The communication between GNU Health Server and Client is by intention without
SSL, because publishing a private key is a security risk. Please read
https://code.google.com/p/tryton/wiki/InstallationonopenSUSE#Setting_up_SSL_communication_with_the_Tryton_server
and create your own keys/certificates!
Passwords: User gnuhealth: gnuhealth ; Demo-database: admin:gnusolidario
Tryton-Server: admin:admin
Have fun
Axel
