For partial payment, you need to do the following :

1) On the patient invoice, click "Pay". You will see that by default
it shows you the total amount. Enter the amount of the partial payment
that you want to pay at this moment

2) The system will deduct the partial payment from the total, and it
will show you on the "Payment" tab how much is due.

3) You can click again in "Pay" and to as many partial payments as you
need. Next time you click to make a payment on that invoice, it will
show you the remainder amount.
