Hi All,I'm wondering if there is a bash feature that will repeat the last autocompleted field. I've been having to rename some file names manually, due to absurd control and unicode characters, and use autocomplete to enter the majority of the filename. If we had a feature that would repeat the last autocompleted entry, I would not have to type the same thing twice.
These filenames can be long, and they are full of troublesome characters, like unicode, which I cannot type without knowing the code point(s), so repeating the name, I then fix the "naughty bits."
If there isn't such a feature, I'll submit a bug/request for it. It would be a real time saver to have a way to repeat the last autocompleted entry, without retyping it.
Thank you in advance. David Weeks Information Developer -- Making technology useful.
