feature request: code hookup possibility to glob as it expands, not just after

so the situation is a big dir with many files
any globbimg will cause delay
less if there was a code injection at the place of expanding args, or glob
parts, not just after
for speed
of course thats a variable view, when the glob in the big dir matches none,
it was just a waste of time
if it matches many, many can maybe be already ran before glob finishes,
..as it expands slowly
