Then what is the controversy now that we have at least two (2) working
implementations of reading 32-bit message length in native byte order in
Bash shell?

Do you consider C compiled with LLVM's clang, and the same source C file
compiled to WASM with WASI-SDK portable?

I'm not gathering what the issue is. Kindly clarify.
