Hello,
I'm curious to know if the ASCII 12 character
on line 625 is there for a reason. It's confusing
my tool chain. Is it something to do with m4?
Are compilers expected to cope with it, or is
this a bug?

Also lines 680, 686 and 993.
Just curious.
Regards,
Nigel Stewart
