Ok - I've made some headway with the above question.
LockDirectory= is what I was looking for.
Now the only file that appears in /etc/cfengine is the setuidlog
cfengine.<hostname>.log - it would be great if I could get this to live in
/var/log/cfengine. Any suggestions appreciated.
