True, although in my case I do install all the code that is in the
PATH; I have to trust that otherwise any commands I run, either from
cfengine or the shell could at any time do damage.

Thats something I have been lucky with, I suppose, being able to
control the PATH and all programs/scripts in it,

Anyway, I understand the paranoia that is necessary to manage
operating systems these days.
