'Couldn't recv'

Well, I now use and love cfengine. It really makes life nice and easy.
(which we like).
But I've noticed I'm getting some errors in my logs:
Nov 15 09:57:35 grw07a cfservd[9784]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] Couldn't
recv
Nov 15 09:57:35 grw07a cfservd[9784]: [ID 801593 daemon.error] recv: Error
0

and

Nov 15 09:57:48 grw07a cfservd[9784]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] Couldn't
recv
Nov 15 09:57:48 grw07a cfservd[9784]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] Denying
repeated connection from 159.245.49.156
Nov 15 09:57:48 grw07a cfservd[9784]: [ID 801593 daemon.error] recv: Bad
file number

The 'denying repeated connection' error happens reliably from about 2 of my
hosts and seems to coincide with a message of

Checking copy from grw07a:/usr/local/bigbrother/bb/ext to
/usr/local/bigbrother/sol2.6/bb18c1/ext
cfengine:grw56e: Transmission refused or failed statting
/usr/local/bigbrother/bb/ext
Got:
cfengine:grw56e: Can't stat /usr/local/bigbrother/bb/ext in copy
Saving the setuid log in /var/cfengine/cfagent.grw56e.log
Job start time set to Thu Nov 15 09:57:48 2001

The 'denying connection' goes away when I insert the ip address of the host
into the AllowMultipleConnectionsFrom directive (and is replaced with an
'Error 0' but the file is copied). This is a little odd, since they are
already listed by name in this directive. (and other hosts listed by name
do not complain).
These events seem to occur on copying files across a network, and the
machines in question are Solaris 2.6 Sparc (the server is 2.8)

Cheers.
Ed Rolison.
