Recurse dirs w/tidy

I'm trying to do the equivilent of 'rm -rf /var/netscape' with tidy and
it works if there is a single directory, but it does not recurse through
multiple directories as I desire. Here's my code:

tidy:

    irix|irix64::
        /var                        pat=netscape r=inf age=0
rmdirs=true

==============

Am I missing something?
