required and freespace option

Hello All,

I am trying to monitor freespace on my partitions and have been testing
with the following:

required:

    / freespace=75% inform=true
    /home freespace=75% inform=true

The check on the root partition works fine, but the check on /home does
not even though it is below the required free space limit.  Looking
through the archives, I found that one solution was to create a file
and check this.  Is this still the solution, and if so will it be fixed
in the future?  If not, what am I missing?
