I just tried with cfengine-2.0.5 and this works:

disks:
   /      freespace=10%   inform=true
   /boot  freespace=10%   inform=true
   /tmp   freespace=5%    inform=true
   /usr   freespace=10%   inform=true
   /var   freespace=10%   inform=true  define=var_full
