Hello cfadmins,

I'm a little bit confused about following error message:

snc0b7: Clocks differ too much to do copy by date (security)
snc0b7: Clocks are too far unsynchronized 1046784679/1046806277
snc0b7: Can't stat /rccadmin/cfengine/confs in copy

Okay, docu says
The default is to deny access to systems whose clocks differ by more than
one hour. This can prevent messages of the form `Can't stat' file when
remote copying.

When I check the date on master and client at the same time:

cfengine client: Di., 04. März 2003, 14:31:51
cfengine master: Tue Mar 4 14:31:56 MET 2003

..that's only seconds

There is no entry DenyBadClocks in my cfservd.conf on master.

@Mark
I would be useful to add the hostname or IP-Adresse to the entry in
SYSLOG on cfengine master, if the problem occurs. There is no hint on
which machine the clock is to far unsynchronized:

. from syslog.log
Mar 6 09:33:09 snsa01 snsa01[78888]: BAD: Clocks are too far
unsynchronized 1046939589/1046961238 Mar 6 09:33:11 snsa01
snsa01[78888]: BAD: Clocks are too far unsynchronized
1046939591/1046961240

Does anybody have an idea or solution ?

Gruß Yves
