That "Did you forget the domain name?" error is given for just about any
"permission denied" type of situation. I suspect it's deliberately vague,
although I also find it to be misleading.
Do you have "AllowUsers = ( root )" in the control section of cfservd.conf?
I think that was the last missing piece in my first cfservd.conf puzzle.
